About WSAMA


The Washington State Association of Municipal Attorneys (WSAMA) is a nonprofit corporation with a primarily education purpose. We aim to:

  • Provide avenues for members to associate in order to maintain and encourage cooperative relationships among city and town attorneys in Washington State;
  • Hold semi-annual conferences to discuss common municipal problems;
  • Allow opportunities to develop uniform opinions about common municipal problems and uniform interpretation of law affecting municipalities; and
  • Establish and maintain a closer and more cooperate relationship between cities and towns and other municipal bodies that administer statutes, rules, and regulations affecting municipalities.
